Compensation/Salary: $105,000 - $115,000 

Authorization Status: Must be Authorized to Work in the U.S.   

Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for SCI access and CI Polygraph.

What we are looking for  

Aleto Inc. is seeking to hire an Project Manager in Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment to provide support for space planning, design, construction, closeout, and related analytical services over the client's entire leased or owned asset lifecycle. The Project Manager will manage the organization and installation of furniture projects of varying sizes and complexity. The Project Manager must be highly organized, hands-on, and customer service oriented. Additionally, we are looking for an project manager who is comfortable working with general contractors, in the field or at the office.   

 Interview Process

Project Manager -Essential Job Duties   

Duties include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

Customer Service.  

  • Act as the main point of contact for the customer and other applicable parties during the project execution process. Maintain a professional and positive demeanor with clients and other partners across all situations. 

Project Definition and Planning.  

  • Negotiate clear and reasonable project expectations and deliverables for our clients and other project parties.  

  • Develop plans, schedules, logistics, and deliveries that align with the project parameters and client goals. 

Project Implementation and Coordination.  

  • Foster quality interactions and coordination of work with all third parties (A&D firms, facility or building managers, contractors, movers, etc.) and the project team.  

  • Provide updates and communication throughout the project ensuring all critical information or dates are known by all project parties. 

  • Align furniture installation with the contractor’s schedule. 

Installation Planning and Execution.  

  • Review plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and application.  

  • Schedule and facilitate the product delivery and installation, verifying installation progress and completion. Identify, manage, and finalize the punch list with the Account Executive and client.  

  • Take the initiative to address issues.  

  • Serve as an escalation point to resolve and mitigate issues as required.  

  • Ensure project punch-list is addressed and completed by obtaining a client sign-off. 

Project Administration and Closeout.  

  • Maintain and track any project revisions or modifications and ensure applicable parties are made aware. Manage any changes in scope of costs in real-time and provide timely and accurate information about any changes.  

  • Complete project closeout and document. 

  • Develops AutoCAD existing furniture and concept drawings and performs support functions as directed to meet the budget, schedule, and project design goals. 

  • Develops project briefings and presentations for senior management. 

  • Maintains and organizes project files, invoices, estimates, and vendor information. 

  • Investigate and resolve facility construction and renovation issues. 

  • Captures action items for project management teams, capture meeting minutes, and disseminate them to appropriate stakeholders. 

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications/Capabilities/Software Knowledge 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

Qualifications / Education / Experience:  

  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for SCI access and Polygraph.   

  • Must successfully complete a government-issued polygraph at the time of contract award.  

  • U.S. Citizenship required  

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree/certification in Project Management, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.  

  • 5–8 years of experience in furniture procurement, facilities management, or workplace strategy.   

  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities with experience supervising staff and consultants.   

  • Proven capability to manage large-scale, multi-site furniture and warranty programs.   

  • In-depth understanding of commercial furniture products, ergonomics, and space planning.   

  • Experience with BIFMA, ANSI, LEED standards, and familiarity with GSA and FAR procurement regulations.   

Technological Skills:  

  • AutoCAD, Revit 

  • MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera, or equivalent 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 

  • Ability to learn new planning, drawing, design, and specification software 

  • Experience with IWMS software desired 

  • Robust understanding and responsible use of generative AI, machine learning concepts, and emerging enterprise AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) with the ability to translate these capabilities into real-world use cases that improve efficiency.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be comfortable presenting to clients and executive personnel. 

  •  Contract Furniture Experience.  

  • Ability to write clearly and informatively, editing work for spelling and grammar, varying writing style to meet needs.

  • Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, discrete, resourceful, and able to maintain confidentiality. 

  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people, both internal and external

  • Pay Cycle  

Paydays are on the 10th and the 24th of each month.
Payroll is processed in arrears, according to the following schedule:
Time worked from 1st - 15th of the month is paid on the 24th.
Time worked from 16th – last day of the month is paid on the 10th of the following month.
Because pay is issued in arrears, your first paycheck will be received on the next applicable pay date after your start date. For example, if an employee starts on May 4, their first paycheck with Aleto would be issued on May 24.

Below is a list of comprehensive benefits offered to employees who work 30 hours or more each week:   

  • Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance: 

Aleto employees are offered single, single-plus-one-dependent, or family medical, vision, and dental insurance plans.  

Aleto offers three medical plan options to employees. Aleto contributes 75% of the employee premium to the base medical plan and the option to “buy up” for the two additional plans.  

Aleto contributes 75% of the employee premium for the visions and dental plans. 

  • Pre-Tax Savings Accounts 

The option to enroll in an HSA or FSA depending on elected medical insurance coverage.  

  • Disability Insurance:  

Company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance. 

  • Life Insurance: 

Company-paid life insurance coverage.  

  • Paid Time Off: 

Paid time off includes eleven federal holidays. Full-time employees accrue PTO at the rate of 5 hours per pay period for a total of three weeks per year. In addition, employees are provided with a separate bank of 40 hours of paid sick leave per year.  

  • Retirement Plan: 

Aleto offers full-time employees a 401(k) qualified retirement plan.  

Environment and Physical Conditions  

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time, move inside and around an office, position themself to access items located in high or low areas, and transport items weighing up to 20 pounds across the office. Requires the constant operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery and the ability to observe details at a close range typically within a few feet of the observer.  The employee interacts frequently with other workers, vendors, and clients and will communicate information and ideas so others will understand and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The position consistently requires work to be completed in an office environment with artificial light and air.
