What we are looking for:
Aleto Inc. is seeking to hire a Security Manager at one of its Government Client’s sites in Silver Spring, MD who will serve as the point of contact for a variety of DOC and DOD Programs/Applications including the Defense Enrollment Eligibility System (DEERS), Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification Systems (RAPIDS), Trusted Agent Sponsorship System (TASS) and Role Administrator for the GSA PIV Card and US Access Systems.
Interview Process

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Analyze situations, develop solutions, and recommend action by performing a variety of professional, technical, and analytical tasks related to monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting data, departmental operations analysis, review, and analysis of policies, protocols, procedures, and related performance metrics.
Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS)
Serve as the Senior Site Security Manager (SSM) for Client’s CAC Program. Issue credentials as needed.
Enter data in the DEERS database on the Client’s Corps active duty, retiree, and dependent service records.
Correct military or uniformed service personnel records in the DEERS database.
Respond to various inquiries concerning the application of military benefits, laws, and regulations.
Responsible for maintaining RAPIDS Site Security Managers' designation privileges in RAPIDS.
Serve as a liaison to the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) concerning DEERS record discrepancies and RAPIDS hardware and software equipment.
Monitor Common Access Card (CAC) and ID card issuance to the Client’s employees and beneficiaries.
Responsible for RAPIDS and CAC Reports.
Serve as the CPR Coordinator for the Client.
Serve as the Appointment Scheduler Administrator for the Project Office.
Coordinator for the Traveling Mobile Units assigned to Client.
Serves as the Alternate Voting Client representative to the Joint Uniformed Services personnel Advisory Committee (JUSPAC).
Attend formal quarterly and ad hoc meetings.
Trusted Associate Sponsorship System
Register new SPOCs/TASMs
Perform the transfer of applicants from one Client site to another Client site
Serves as an EQIP Initiator
Serves as a Trusted Agent and processes TASS applications for CAC credentials
PIV-I Registrar/Enrollment/Activator Officer
Conducting new enrollment and re-enrollment PIV-I functions
Searching and retrieving applicant records
Verifying and recording authentic identity source documents
Capturing a facial image photograph
Capturing twenty fingerprints (ten flat and ten rolled, in accordance with FIPS 201-3)
Verifying minutiae templates
Flagging issues that occur during the enrollment process
Signing and processing the enrollment package
Educating applicants on future steps of the enrollment process (i.e., card issuance and activation process)
Accepting/receiving inactive cards from the card production facility
Controlling the secure storage of credentials in a locked safe
Logging all action items taken into or out of the safe
Guiding the applicant through the activation process
Verifying proper activation of PIV cards
Educating the applicant on the usage of the PIV card
Issuing PIV credentials
Providing the PIV cardholder a copy of the Privacy Act Statement (Appendix E: PIV Card Usage Privacy Act Notice) and having them electronically sign the privacy statement.
Performing card block/unblock, PIN reset, and suspend card functions

Qualifications/Education/Experience:
U.S. Citizenship
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Proven track record of success in providing security or badging support within a federal environment
2+ years of experience in a security-related field is strongly preferred
Technological Skills:
Proficient with DEERS, RAPIDS, and TASS
Hands-on experience with CAC office management and processes
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
Proficient with IE, Chrome, and Firefox
Proficient in Google Workspace
Required Knowledge and Skills:

Environment and Physical Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time, move inside and around an office, position themself to access items located in high or low areas, and transport items weighing up to 20 pounds across the office.
